curatorial + archive

My work in libraries and special collections incorporates public service, archival processing, and bibliographic description, as well as special presentations and exhibition development. I also have experience in large-scale project management for identifying and assessing backlog, developing curricula around primary source literacy, and creating documentation for public service.

My field of expertise is twentieth-century (especially post-World War Two) poetry and poetics, but I work across histories of Western European/American print. Beyond this, I seek to expand the canon of this traditionally Eurocentric perspective by incorporating indigenous and non-Western voices.

EXHIBITION DEVELOPMENT

I worked as Curatorial Associate for the Polonsky Exhibition of The New York Public Library’s Treasures, providing research assistance across the divisions of the Library to identify and arrange key holdings–from First Folios to baseball cards, poetry manuscripts to African masks.

I developed a pop-up exhibition on Lou Reed in collaboration with curators at the Library for the Performing Arts, displayed in the McGraw Rotunda of the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building at NYPL.

I assisted in facilitating the exhibition “You Say You Want a Revolution: Remembering the 60s,” in NYPL’s Gottesman Hall, which drew over a quarter of a million visitors.
